On AI and how we work

There is a lot of AI-generated content on the internet right now.

We are not adding to it.

Every letter Gina writes is written by a human. Every illustration is drawn by hand: sketched, revised, and painted the old-fashioned way. When we describe a place, a tradition, or an animal, we research it carefully and write about it in our own words. We may occasionally use a tool to verify a fact, but the thinking, the voice, and the storytelling are always ours.

We believe this matters, especially for children. What lands in your child's hands should have been made with care and intention by a real person — not generated in seconds by a machine.

What we do and don't use AI for

We do not use AI for:

✕Writing the letters
✕Creating illustrations or character design
✕Developing story ideas or destinations
✕Any content that reaches your child

We do use technology for:

Running the business (email, billing, logistics)
Occasional fact-checking and research support
Internal operational tasks unrelated to the letters
